Along my professional path, I spent the first half of my career as a C-Suite leader in the corporate world, working alongside ambitious executives shaping business, innovation, and design. Through that experience, I witnessed the profound impact stress and overextension can have on wellbeing. This awareness inspired me to dedicate my second career to supporting individuals, families, and professionals in a therapeutic way. This transition allows me to combine practical leadership insight with clinical expertise to help clients create sustainable change.I draw from a range of evidence-based and somatic approaches, tailoring treatment to each client’s unique needs. My training includes Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Radically Open DBT (RO-DBT), DBT-Prolonged Exposure (DBT-PE), Child and Adolescent DBT, Somatic Experiencing (SE), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I work with clients experiencing mood and personality disorders, trauma and PTSD, panic, grief, overcontrolled perfectionism, suicidality, and self-harm. By integrating both cognitive and body-based practices, I aim to help clients experience healing on multiple levels.
My professional experience spans residential and hospital settings, Marin County community mental health, and school-based counseling, providing me with a broad perspective on mental health care. I hold a B.A. in Psychology from Skidmore College and an M.A. in Holistic Counseling Psychology and Somatic Psychology from John F. Kennedy University. These diverse environments have strengthened my ability to adapt to different needs and provide care that is both flexible and grounded.
I believe each person carries an inner wisdom and the capacity for transformation. My role is to guide clients with skill and compassion as they develop the tools to navigate life’s challenges and create an authentic, fulfilling path forward. It is a privilege to witness the strength and growth that emerges when clients commit to their healing journey.
